Mindful Move Groove

Fun. Mindful. Energizing. Moving and Grooving.
Mindful Move Groove is an invitation for you to join with a group of folks who are all committed to moving more mindfully and expanding their choices of physical movement. Beginners and all levels of movement abilities welcome!

Mindful Move Groove is accessible and beneficial to a wide range of people - even those who believe they can't "dance." MMG can be done standing or seated, whichever works best for the individual mover!

Each MMG starts with a gentle somatic warm-up inspired by an intention (see below) and is often followed by fun, choreographed movement to upbeat, familiar music.

In Spring 2019 we will continue to explore all the ways we can move our fluidity - awakening our lymphatic system, expanding our capacity to engage Flow, connecting with the fundamental gifts of developmental patterning and learning ways we Exert and Recuperate in our movement!

We are playing with all the ways you can prevent those aches and pains of inflammation that can happen after doing Spring yard work and other similar physical activities! A wonderful practice for anyone with a chronic pain or chronic inflammatory condition!

All the moves we make in MMG are designed to enhance resilience, strength, balance, mood and body awareness without high speed or high intensity movement.

Although we often play with a body of familiar choreographic work and music, each session is also unique and appropriate for any new-comers because Victoria adjusts the material on the fly to meet the needs and the interests of the participants present.
